Hi,
sorry, may be the question is stupid but I'm new to codebug. I tried to find information by search, this doesn't work and also found nothing corresponding by reading.
The sentence in the headline is part of the paper manual. What does it really mean?
Is it really forbiddend to put anything to the legs when connected to the PC by USB? That means I only can use lightbugs and the star when I insert a battery? I don't like batteries.
May I use a standard power pack like for my mobile?

Does anyone knows a good documentation for codebug?

I have powered a codebug by the legs and cone ted t USB and nothing bad happened, but clearly, since there is a warning, there is a risk.

The safe option is to disconnect power from the 5V / GND legs when programming with USB. After programming completes disconnect USB and reconnect leg power.

Power into the USB socket should power light bugs / stars. That's a simple way to swap between USB port and Power in.
